Banana Cream Pie Shot

Equipment

  • jigger
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • cocktail shaker
  • shot glass

Ingredients
  

  • .75 oz creme de banana
  • .75 oz whipped cream vodka
  • .5 oz rumchata
  • .25 oz half and half
  • ice
  • Crushed graham crackers optional garnish
  • whipped Cream optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • Make sure that you have everything necessary to make the shot.
  • Grab up some ice and toss it into the shaker. It should be almost full.
  • If want to rim the shot glass in crushed graham cracker:
    1) Crush up a graham cracker and put it in a layer on a saucer.
    2) take a piece of ice and run it around the rim of the shot glass.
    3) Place the shot glass rim down on a saucer and tip it side to side.
  • Grab up the creme de banana and the jigger. Measure out .75 oz of creme de banana and toss it into the shaker.
  • Grab up the whipped cream vodka and the jigger. Measure out .75 oz of whipped cream vodka and toss it into the shaker.
  • Grab up the rumchata and the jigger. Measure out .5 oz of rumchata and toss it into the shaker.
  • Grab up the half and half and the jigger. Measure out .25 oz of half and half and toss it into the shaker.
  • Grab the shaker lid and place it on top of the shaker.
  • Shake it well until it is cold to the touch on the outside. Typically this takes about 15 seconds or so.
  • Grab the Hawthorne strainer and replace the lid with it.
  • Pour your drink from the shaker into the shot glass.
  • If you want to add whipped cream garnish, you should put a dollop on top of the shot glass now.
