Killer Kool aid Cocktail

Equipment

  • jigger
  • highball glass
  • cocktail shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • bar spoon

Ingredients
  

  • .5 oz Vodka
  • .5 oz Midori
  • .5 oz Amaretto
  • 4 oz Cranberry Juice
  • Lime Wedge or Maraschino cherry (optional garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Collect all of your needed ingredients and equipment.
  • Toss some ice into the glass. It should be filled to the top.
  • Take your vodka and measure out .5 oz with the jigger. Dump that into the glass.
  • Take your midori and measure out .5 oz with the jigger. Dump that into the glass.
  • Take your amaretto and measure out .5 oz with the jigger. Dump that into the glass.
  • Take your cranberry juice and measure out 4 oz with the jigger. Dump that into the glass.
  • To get everything mixed up, you have two options:
    1) Place the bar spoon in the glass and stir well.
    2) Toss the drink from the glass into the shaker and then back into the glass.

Notes

You can also build this drink in the shaker instead of in the glass.  To do this:
  1. also fill the shaker with ice.
  2. Pour all ingredients directly into the shaker.
  3. Put the shaker top on and shake well.
  4. Replace the top with the strainer and pour into the glass.
