Tequila Limeade

Equipment

  • jigger
  • bar spoon
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • cocktail shaker
  • highball glass

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 4 oz Limeade
  • ice

Instructions
 

  • Gather up all the necessary ingredients and equipment for this drink.
  • Pick up some ice and toss it in the glass. Glass should be about filled with ice.
  • Pick up the tequila and measure 2 oz with the jigger. Toss the tequila into the glass.
  • Pick up the limeade and measure 4 oz with the jigger. Toss the limeade into the glass.
    note: you can also just top the glass off with limeade instead of measuring it with the jigger if desired.
  • To get everything mixed up:
    1) Use the shaker and toss the contents of the glass into the shaker. Then, toss it all back into the glass.
    2) Use the bar spoon by putting it into the glass and stirring well.

Notes

You can also build this cocktail in the shaker instead of the glass if you want.  To do this>
  1. Fill up the shaker with ice as well.
  2. Toss all ingredients straight into the shaker.
  3. Put the shaker top on the shaker.
  4. Shake it up for about 15 seconds.
  5. Remove the shaker top.
  6. Put the hawthorne strainer on the shaker.
  7. Pour the drink into the glass.
