Gather up everything necessary to make the drink.
Pop the martini glass into the freezer to chill.
Pop some ice into the shaker. The shaker should be filled to the top.
Use the jigger to measure .5 oz of Kahlua. Toss the Kahlua into the shaker.
Use the jigger to measure 1.5 oz of vodka. Toss the vodka into the shaker.
Use the jigger to measure 1 oz of espresso. Toss the espresso into the shaker.
Grab the shaker top and cover the shaker with it.
Shake it until the shaker gets cold to touch. Usually that will take around 20 seconds.
Take the chilled martini glass out of the freezer.
Remove the shaker top and replace it with the strainer.
Pour the drink into the martini glass.
