Espresso Martini

Equipment

  • jigger
  • cocktail shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Martini glass

Ingredients
  

  • .5 oz Kahlua
  • 1.5 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Espresso Coffee
  • Ice

Instructions
 

  • Gather up everything necessary to make the drink.
  • Pop the martini glass into the freezer to chill.
  • Pop some ice into the shaker. The shaker should be filled to the top.
  • Use the jigger to measure .5 oz of Kahlua. Toss the Kahlua into the shaker.
  • Use the jigger to measure 1.5 oz of vodka. Toss the vodka into the shaker.
  • Use the jigger to measure 1 oz of espresso. Toss the espresso into the shaker.
  • Grab the shaker top and cover the shaker with it.
  • Shake it until the shaker gets cold to touch. Usually that will take around 20 seconds.
  • Take the chilled martini glass out of the freezer.
  • Remove the shaker top and replace it with the strainer.
  • Pour the drink into the martini glass.
