Watermelon Mojito

Equipment

  • jigger
  • cocktail shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • highball glass
  • Muddler

Ingredients
  

  • 5 - 10 leaves Mint
  • 1.5 oz White Rum
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • .5 oz Watermelon Pucker
  • .5 oz Simple syrup
  • top Club Soda

Instructions
 

  • Take 5 - 10 mint leaves and toss them into the shaker.
  • Add .5 oz of simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Take the muddler and gently smoosh the mint and simple syrup together. The leaves should be broken a little, but not totally smashed.
  • Toss some ice into the cocktail shaker.
  • Use the jigger and measure 1.5 oz of white rum. Add that to the shaker.
  • Use the jigger and measure 1 oz of lime juice. Add that to the shaker.
  • Use the jigger and measure .5 oz of watermelon pucker. Add that to the shaker.
  • Toss the shaker lid on the shaker and shake it up for 15 - 20 seconds.
  • Fill the highball glass with ice.
  • Remove the shaker lid. Toss the hawthorne strainer over top of the shaker.
  • Pour the drink from the shaker into the glass.
  • Grab the club soda and pour directly into the glass to top it off.
