Gin-Gin Mule

Equipment

  • jigger
  • Copper Mug

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 4 oz Ginger Beer
  • .5 oz Lime Juice
  • Ice

Instructions
 

  • Fill the copper mug up to the top with ice.
  • Using the jigger, measure out 2 oz of gin. Then, toss the gin into the mug.
  • Using the jigger, measure out .5 oz of lime juice. Then, toss the lime juice into the mug.
  • Using the jigger, measure out 4 oz of ginger beer. Then, toss the ginger beer into the mug.
  • Grab a sprig of mint and put it in the side of the drink.

Notes

Often times this drink uses muddled mint and simple syrup. If you want to do this variation follow the following steps:
  • Add 4-5 mint leaves to the cocktail shaker.
  • Measure and add 1 oz of simple syrup to the cocktail shaker.
  • Use the muddler to gently smash the mint leaves in with a simple syrup.
  • Add a little ice to the shaker.
  • Measure both the lime juice and gin into the shaker.
  • Put the lid on the shaker and shake well.
  • Strain drink into mug. Then, top with ginger beer.
