- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Cocoa Powder
Measure 1 cup of cocoa powder and place it in the saucepan.
Measure 1 cup of sugar and place it in the saucepan.
Measure 1 cup of water and place it in the saucepan.
Put the saucepan on medium heat for around 10 minutes.
Stir the mixture regularly while heating. Simmer only; do not let it do a full boil.
Take it off the stove and pour into a pyrex or mason jar.
Put it into the refrigerator to thicken and chill for about 1 - 2 hours.
Storage:
- Keep in an airtight container for 2 - 4 weeks in the fridge.
- Freeze in ice cube trays and then airtight freezer bags if longer storage is needed.
Tips:
- Don't let the mixture boil.
- Stir regularly while heating.
