Equipment

  • highball glass
  • jigger
  • cocktail shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • (Optional) bar spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Rum
  • 4 oz Cranberry Juice
  • Ice
  • lime wedge garnish

Instructions
 

  • Fill Highball Glass with ice
  • Fill Cocktail Shaker with ice
  • Cut Lime into wedges and add one wedge to rim of glass
  • Measure and pour 2 oz of rum into cocktail shaker
  • Measure and pour 4 oz of cranberry juice into cocktail shaker
  • Add top to shaker and shake well
  • Remove top and place Hawthorne strainer on top of shaker
  • Pour liquid from shaker into highball glass
  • (optional) add a dash of cranberry juice to top off glass
  • (optional) instead of using a cocktail shaker, you can just add the rum and cranberry juices straight to the highball glass and give it a stir with a bar spoon.
