Pink Russian Cocktail

Equipment

  • jigger
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • cocktail shaker
  • Rocks glass

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 oz Tequila Rose
  • 1 oz Kahlua
  • 1 oz Vodka
  • .5 oz Half and Half
  • Ice

Instructions
 

  • Gather up everything needed to make this cocktail.
  • Toss ice into the rocks glass. It should be filled about to the top of the glass.
  • Pick up the tequila rose. Use the jigger and measure out 1.5 oz of Tequila Rose. Pour it in the glass.1 oz Kahlua1 oz Vodka .5 oz Half and half
  • Pick up the Kahlua. Use the jigger and measure out 1 oz of Kahlua. Pour it in the glass.
  • Pick up the vodka. Use the jigger and measure out 1 oz of Vodka. Pour it in the glass.
  • Pick up the half and half. Use the jigger and measure out .5 oz of half and half Pour it in the glass.
  • To mix everything together, toss the contents of the glass into the cocktail shaker.
  • Then, pour everything from the shaker back to the glass.

Notes

The instructions above build this drink in the glass.  You can also build it in the shaker.  To do this:
  1. Also fill the shaker with ice.
  2. Pour your ingredients directly into the shaker.
  3. Put the top on the shaker and shake for 15 - 20 seconds.
  4. Remove the shaker top.
  5. Put the strainer over the shaker and pour it into the glass.
