Place the martini into the freezer so that it can chill while you make the drink.
Add enough ice to the cocktail shaker so that it is filled completely to the top.
Grab the Vanilla vodka and use the jigger to measure .75 oz. Dump the vanilla vodka into the shaker.
Grab the Peppermint schnapps and use the jigger to measure 1.5 oz. Dump the peppermint schnapps into the shaker.
Grab the Creme de menthe and use the jigger to measure .5 oz. Dump the creme de menthe into the shaker.
Cover the shaker with it's lid.
Shake well until the shaker gets cold to touch it. This will typically take about 15 - 20 seconds.
Snatch the martini glass out of the freezer.
Remove the shaker lid. Cover the shaker with the hawthorne strainer.
Strain the drink from the shaker into the glass.
