Blueberry Milk

Equipment

  • jigger
  • bar spoon
  • highball glass or rocks glass
  • cocktail shaker optional
  • Hawthorne strainer optional

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 oz Blueberry Simple Syrup if making your own you will need 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar
  • 4 oz Milk
  • Ice

Instructions
 

Blueberry Simple syrup

  • Put 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar in a saucepan.
  • Put the pot on medium heat to simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Strain the syrup to remove all the blueberry pieces.
  • Add it to the fridge to cool.

Blueberry Milk

  • Fill up the highball or rocks glass with ice.
  • Pour 2 oz of blueberry simple syrup into the glass.
    *see notes below if you want to measure in cups.
  • Use the jigger to measure out the milk. Pour 4 oz of milk into the glass.
    Alternatively, you can just pour the milk straight into the glass to top it off.
  • Take the bar spoon and mix it all up.

Notes

Alternative Measurements
  • ¼ cup of blueberry simple syrup
  • ½ cup of milk
Variations & Substitutions
  • You can also use a cocktail shaker and shake this to mix instead of stirring.
  • Use dairy free milk if desired.
  • You can also blend in blueberries and sugar instead of using blueberry simple syrup.
