Measure out 1 cup of honey and add it to the saucepan.
Measure out 1 cup of water and add it to the saucepan.
Put the saucepan on the stove at medium heat.
Stir well while heating for around 10 minutes.
Simmer the mixture, but do not let it fully boil.
After 10 minutes, remove from heat and place into a mason jar or small pyrex.
Place in the fridge to cool and thicken for around 1 - 2 hours.
Tips:
- Don't let the mixture boil while heating or it may burn on the bottom of the pot.
- Stir frequently to allow it to heat consistently.
Storage
- Keep in the fridge in an airtight container for 2 - 4 weeks.
- You can freeze in an ice cube tray if you won't use it all within a month.
