  • 4 oz Orange Juice
  • 1 oz Mint Simple Syrup if making from scratch: 1 cup mint leaves, 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar
  • 2 oz Gingerale

Instructions

Mint Simple Syrup

  • Add into a pot 1 cup of mint leaves.
  • Add 1 cup of water in the pot.
  • Add 1 cup of sugar in the pot.
  • Place the pot on the stovetop on medium heat.
  • Stir regularly for 5 - 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and strain the liquid to separate the mint leaves out.
  • Sit it in the refrigerator to cool.

Orange Mocktail

  • Grab some ice and fill the rocks glass with it.
  • Grab the jigger and measure 4 oz of orange juice. Toss it into the glass.
*see notes below if you need measurements in tbs and cups instead of ounces.
  • Grab the jigger and measure 1 oz of mint simple syrup. Toss it into the glass.
  • Grab the jigger and measure 2 oz of ginger ale. Toss it into the glass.
*alternatively, you can just add the ginger ale straight to the glass topping it off instead of measuring it.
  • If desired, use a bar spoon to carefully stir the drink.

Notes

Variations:
  • You can substitute club soda, sparkling water or lemon lime soda instead of ginger ale.
  • If you don't have or don't want to make mint simple syrup, you can use regular simple syrup.
