  • Put a pan on the stovetop at medium heat.
  • Add 1 cup of raspberries.
  • Add 1 cup of water.
  • Add 1 cup of sugar.
  • Simmer the ingredients, while stirring for around 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and strain the liquid to get out any solid pieces of raspberry.
  • Set in the fridge to cool.

  • Then, measure out 5 oz of water and pour it into the glass.
*see notes below for measurements in tbs and cups.

Notes

Variations:
  • If you don't have raspberry simple syrup and don't want to make any.  Simply muddle about 5 raspberries with 1 oz of simple syrup in the cocktail shaker before getting started.
No shaker?  No problem.  Try out a mason jar or any other jar with a lid to shake your ingredients up.

Measurements:  if you don't have a jigger to measure in ounces, use the following.
  • 3 tbs lemon juice
  • .6 cups water
  • 1.5 tbs raspberry simple syrup
