Raspberry Simple Syrup
If you don't have any made or purchased, you can easily make your own in about 10 - 15 minutes.
Put a pan on the stovetop at medium heat.
Add 1 cup of raspberries.
Add 1 cup of water.
Add 1 cup of sugar.
Simmer the ingredients, while stirring for around 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain the liquid to get out any solid pieces of raspberry.
Set in the fridge to cool.
Raspberry Lemonade
Fill the highball glass and cocktail shaker both up with ice.
Measure out 1.5 oz of lemon juice and add to the shaker.*see notes below for measurements in tbs and cups.
Measure out 1 oz of cooled raspberry simple syrup and add to the shaker.*see notes below for measurements in tbs and cups.
Put the shaker lid on and shake it up until the shaker gets cold on the outside. This usually will happen at about 15 - 20 seconds.
Take the shaker lid off and pour it into the glass.
Then, measure out 5 oz of water and pour it into the glass.*see notes below for measurements in tbs and cups.
Use a bar spoon and stir well to mix it up.

Variations:
If you don't have raspberry simple syrup and don't want to make any. Simply muddle about 5 raspberries with 1 oz of simple syrup in the cocktail shaker before getting started.
