Instructions
Fill a highball glass to the top with ice.
Toss 5 mint leaves into a cocktail shaker.
Use the jigger to measure 1 oz of raspberry simple syrup and add that to the shaker.*see notes below if you don't have a jigger. you can also measure in tbs and cups.
Take the muddler and gently smash the mint in with the raspberry simple syrup. Mint leaves should be partially broken, but not totally ripped apart.
Add some ice into the cocktail shaker.
Use the jigger to measure 1 oz of lime juice and add that to the shaker.
Put the shaker lid on and shake it up for about 20 seconds.
Remove the shaker lid and put the strainer on the shaker. Pour the drink into the glass.
Use the jigger to measure 4 - 5 oz of club soda and add that to the glass.Pro tip: just top the glass off with club soda instead of measuring it out.
If desired, stir it up with the bar spoon and add a few mint leaves on top of the drink as a garnish.

Measurements in cups and tbs:
2 tbs lime juice
2 tbs raspberry simple syrup
½ - ⅔ club soda
Substitutions & Variations:
You can use homemade or store-bought raspberry simple syrup.
An alternative to raspberry simple syrup is to muddle 5 raspberries with the mint and use regular simple syrup.
If you don't have a cocktail shaker, you can use any jar with a lid. Mason jars work great.
