Rum Sour
Equipment
- Rocks glass
- bar spoon
- 1 4” drink skewer
- (Optional) Mixing tumbler
Ingredients
- 2 oz dark rum
- 1½ oz lemon juice
- 1½ oz simple syrup
- 3 maraschino cherries garnish
- 1 lemon wheel optional garnish
- 1 egg white optional ingredient
Instructions
- Fill rocks glass and mixing tumbler with ice
- Add 2 oz of rum to the mixing tumbler
- Add 1½ oz of lemon juice to the mixing tumbler
- Top off with 1½ oz simple syrup
- (optional) add in an egg white for a frothy version
- Put the lid on tumbler and shake until outside is frosted over
- Replace lid with strainer and pour over ice into a rocks glass
- Garnish with 3 cherries on 4” drink skewer (and a lemon wheel, if you like)
- Enjoy!
