Sugar Cookie Syrup
Sugar cookie simple syrup is sweet and easy to make. It is a perfect sweetener for winter and Christmas time, add it into drinks or onto baked goods.

Prevent your screen from going dark
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- .5 teaspoon Butter Extract
- .25 teaspoon Almond Extract
Measure out 1 teaspoon Vanilla, ½ teaspoon Butter extract and ¼ teaspoon Almond extract. Add them all to the pot.
Measure 1 cup of water and toss it into the pot.
Measure 1 cup of sugar and toss it into the pot.
Put your pot on medium heat and simmer for around 10 minutes.
Stir the mixture regularly while heating.
Remove from the heat and pour into a jar or pyrex.
Place syrup into the refrigerator to thicken up and chill out.
Tips
- Only allow the mixture to simmer; do not boil it.
- Stir regularly while heating to ensure even heating and no scalding.
Storage
- Keep it in an airtight container in the fridge for 2 - 4 weeks.
- If needed to store longer than 4 weeks, freeze it in an ice cube tray.
