Use enough ice to fill the highball glass up.
Use the jigger and measure out .5 oz of simple syrup. Pour that into the shaker.
Toss the 5 - 10 mint leaves into the shaker.
Take the muddler and gently muddle the mint and simple syrup. You want the mint leaves to be smushed enough to release their juice, but not totally pulverized.
Add some ice into the shaker.
Use the jigger to measure 2.5 oz of raspberry vodka. Pour that into the shaker.
Use the jigger to measure 1 oz of lime juice. Pour that into the shaker.
Pop the shaker top over the shaker and shake it up. Once the shaker gets cold, you can stop.
Pop the shaker top off and pop the strainer onto the shaker.
Pour the drink into the highball glass.
Take the club soda and pour it directly into the glass, topping it off.
