When choosing mint leaves make sure to pick fresh leaves. You can use more or less to amp up or ramp down and then flavor.
You can either make your own simple syrup or buy it from the store. It is simply a combination of granulated sugar and water.
The lime juice can be fresh squeezed or store-bought. Home squeezed lime juice tends to have a fresher more tart flavor.
