What is a Raspberry Vodka Mojito?

A raspberry vodka mojito is a combination of raspberry vodka, mint leaves, lime juice, simple syrup and club soda. This cocktail is full of light refreshing and fizzy flavor with a twist of raspberry and mint.

This drink is a flavored twist on the classic mojito with includes all the above ingredients except uses white rum instead of raspberry vodka. A few other fruit flavored mojitos include passion fruit mojito and the watermelon mojito.

When choosing mint leaves make sure to pick fresh leaves. You can use more or less to amp up or ramp down and then flavor.

You can either make your own simple syrup or buy it from the store. It is simply a combination of granulated sugar and water.

The lime juice can be fresh squeezed or store-bought. Home squeezed lime juice tends to have a fresher more tart flavor.

All of the alcohol content in this drink comes from the raspberry vodka. Raspberry vodka has a light, sweet and raspberry flavor.

    When to Make This Drink:

This refreshing and easy to make drink is perfectly suited for the following occasions:

    • poolside sipping
    • afternoon drinks

    Variations:

If you would like to change the string up a little, but make sure that you keep the same flavor give a few of these ideas a try:

    • Muddle fresh raspberries. Add a fresh raspberry flavor by muddling raspberries in with the mint.
    • Use raspberry simple syrup. Ramp up these sweet raspberry flavor by using raspberry simple syrup instead of plain simple syrup.
    • Use plain vodka. If you do the raspberry muddling or the raspberry simple syrup you can skip the raspberry vodka if wanted.
    • Use flavored sparkling water. Instead of playing club soda use a raspberry or lime flavored water.
