How to make this drink:
Whiskey and Root Beer is super simple to make because it only involves two ingredients; Jack Daniels (or your favorite bourbon or whiskey) and your favorite Root Beer (we prefer A&W).
Step One
Fill your highball glass off with ice.
Step Two
Add in 2 oz of a Jack Daniels or your favorite bourbon or whiskey.
Step Three
Fill the rest of the glass with 4 oz of Root Beer.
Step Four
Stir with a bar spoon or tumble in a mixer.
Step Five
Add a lime wedge to the rime of your glass and enjoy!

Equipment
- highball glass
- bar spoon
- (Optional) Mixing tumbler
Ingredients
- 2 oz Jack Daniels or your favorite bourbon or whiskey
- 4 oz Root Beer
- 1 lime wedge garnish
Instructions
- Fill highball glass with ice
- Add in 2 oz of Jack Daniels
- Top off with Root Beer (approximately 4 oz)
- Stir gently with bar spoon
- Garnish with lime wedge
- Enjoy!
