📖 Variations
One of the fantastic things about this recipe is that it’s easy to create a few flavor modifications and ingredient changes. Here are a few ideas to think about:
- Use fresh raspberries. Instead of using a raspberry simple syrup, you can use fresh raspberries and your sweetener of choice. Toss those together in a blender with the milk and blend everything well. Of note, you will have some chunks of berries for a slightly less smooth drink if you choose this option.
- Go without dairy. Try making this dairy-free by using a milk alternative such as oatmeal, cashew milk or almond milk. It’s best to use an unflavored and unsweetened version.
- Dial up or down the sweetness. You can easily adjust the sweetness in this drink by using more or less simple syrup.
