Tequila and Dr Pepper Cocktail

A Tequila and Dr Pepper is a surprisingly simple yet enjoyable cocktail. This cocktail is super easy to mix up and perfect for sipping on any occasion.

What is a tequila and dr. pepper?

A tequila and Dr Pepper is essentially just a mix of tequila and Dr pepper. It is a very simple drink to make.

Tequila does come in a couple of different types, gold and silver to name a few. Tequila tends to have a bit of a sweet and sharp flavor.

the 23 different flavors combined to make Dr Pepper can make this drink a complex taste profile. It is a soda that tastes like no other. Some of the strong flavors you can typically taste in Dr Pepper include cherry, cinnamon, almond and other spices.

Due to the fact that tequila does not have a super strong flavor, when mixed with Dr Pepper the resulting cocktail basically resembles Dr Pepper with an alcoholic kick.

Other Dr. Pepper drinks that have a similar taste to this cocktail are: Vodka and Dr Pepper, Jager and Dr. Pepper or Rum and Dr Pepper.

How to make this drink:

This drink is as easy as tossing your ingredients in a glass and stirring them up.

Equipment:

• highball glass
• jigger
• bar spoon

Ingredients:

• 2 oz Tequila
• 4 oz Dr Pepper
• Lime wedge

Instructions:

Step one

Before you start mixing your drink together make sure that you have your ingredients and equipment ready to go.

Step two

Get your lime wedge garnish ready first. Do this by first cutting your lime and two slices or wedges.

Take one wedge and cut a small cut between the lime pulp and the lime peel.

Use this cut and place your lime wedge over the rim of your highball glass.

Step three

Grab some ice and fill your highball glass to the top with it.

Step four

Use your jigger to measure out 2 oz of tequila. Then, dump your tequila over the ice into your highball glass.

Step Five

Next, use your jigger to measure out 4 oz of Dr pepper. And also dump your Dr Pepper over the ice into your highball glass.

Step Six

Grab up your bar spoon, place it in your glass, and thoroughly stir your liquid together.
