What is an Uppercut Shot?
An uppercut shot tastes like orange sliced candies with a hint of caramel. It has a sweet citrus flavor mixed with caramel and a bite on the backend from the vodka.
You’ll find that there are several variations for this drink as it’s not an IBA standard. Some are shots, some are cocktails. This is our favorite version and the one we think has the best taste.
You only need three ingredients for this shot: amaretto, orange juice and vodka. It’s very similar to an amaretto and orange juice, but just has that vodka added in.
If you like this drink, you might also enjoy a Sundowners drink or the gladiator bomb shot.
