    The Ultimate Amaretto and Orange Juice

    Looking for a cocktail that’s great for any occasion? Try out an amaretto and orange juice it has a sweet citrus flavor with a little bit of almond mixed in making it perfect flavor for winter, spring, summer or fall.

    What is an Amaretto and Orange Juice?

    An amaretto and orange juice has the sweet orange flavor of orange juice minus the tang. You can also taste the sweet almond flavor of the Amaretto coming through. It is a very smooth and refreshing drink.

    This amaretto and orange juice is super easy to make using just those two ingredients to mix up your cocktail. However there are lots of other cocktails that use these two ingredients plus one or two more such as an uppercut shot, a Bocce ball and an Amaretto sunrise.

    Amaretto is a little bit bitter and a little bit sweet liqueur that has a strong almond flavor. Who was made from the kernels inside of apricot pits.

    This cocktail really goes well for just about any occasion. The citrus flavor is perfect for spring and summer. The sweet, rich almond flavor is perfect for fall and winter holidays.

    You might also like a jager and orange juice if you like easy orange juice based cocktails.

    Equipment

    • jigger
    • highball glass or Rocks glass
    • Hawthorne strainer
    • cocktail shaker

    Ingredients

    • 2 oz Amaretto
    • 4 oz Orange Juice
    • Ice

    Instructions

    This drink can be stirred up easily by anyone. Just toss your two ingredients together and give them a stir.

    Step one

    Make sure you have your jigger, shaker, Hawthorne strainer, amaretto and orange juice ready.

    Step two

    Fill both your cocktail shaker as well as your glass to the top with ice.

    Step three

    Use your jigger to measure 2 oz of Amaretto. Then toss the amaretto into your cocktail shaker with your ice.

    Step four

    Use your jigger to measure 4 oz of orange juice. Then toss the orange juice into your cocktail shaker with your ice and amaretto.

    Step Five

    Cover your shaker with it’s top and give it a good shake. This usually takes around 15 to 20 seconds.

    Step Six

    Take off the shaker top. Put the strainer over the top of the shaker. Pour your liquid from the Shaker into your glass.

    Equipment

    • jigger
    • highball glass or rocks glass
    • Hawthorne strainer
    • cocktail shaker

    Ingredients
      

    • 2 oz Amaretto
    • 4 oz Orange Juice
    • ice

    Instructions
     

    • Start with gathering your Amaretto, Orange Juice, Jigger, Bar Spoon and glass together.
    • Fill your glass with ice.
    • Also fill your cocktail shaker almost full with ice.
    • Measure 2 oz of Amaretto with your jigger. Add the Amaretto into your shaker.
    • Measure 4 oz of Orange Juice with your jigger. Add the Orange Juice into your shaker.
    • Cover the shaker with it's lid and shake well. About 15 – 20 seconds.
    • Remove the shaker lid and cover the shaker with the hawthorne strainer.
    • Pour the drink from your shaker into your glass with ice.
