The Ultimate Bullfrog Drink Recipe

What is a Bullfrog drink?

A bullfrog drink has a strong botanical taste from the gin that is in it. There are also hints of citrus as well as a fizzy bite from the Red Bull.

The bullfrog drink is made with four liquors, one liqueur, lemon juice and an energy drink. It is a very, very strong drink (similar to the blue motherfucker the main difference being this cocktail contains red bull).

This drink is a bright teal color, similar to the Irish trash can, making it perfect for St Patrick’s Day or other parties and celebrations.

Due to its bright color and botanical and fruity flavors it’s also perfect for summertime occasions such as poolside get togethers and Beach parties.

How to make this drink:

This cocktail does call for a lot of ingredients, however, it’s still not that difficult to make. You just want to make sure that you have everything you need to make it before you get started.

Equipment:

• jigger
• highball glass
• bar spoon
• Hawthorne strainer
• cocktail shaker

Ingredients:

• 1 oz Vodka
• 1 oz Tequila
• 1 oz Rum
• 1 oz Gin
• 1 oz Blue Curacao
• 1 oz Lemon Juice
• 4 oz Red Bull
• Ice
• Lemon Wedge and/or maraschino cherries

Instructions:

Step one

Start off by gathering your highball glass, jigger, bar spoon, shaker, Hawthorne strainer and all of your ingredients into one place.

Step two

Next, grab some ice and fill your highball glass with it.

Step three

Now, grab your jigger and use it to measure 1 oz of vodka. Add your vodka into your glass with your ice.

Step four

Again use your jigger. This time, measure 1 oz of gin. Add your gin into your glass with your vodka and ice.

Step Five

Once again using your jigger, measure 1 oz of tequila and add that to your glass with your vodka and your gin.

Step Six

Using your jigger, measure 1 oz of rum and add that to your glass as well.

Step Seven

Once again use your jigger, measure 1 oz of lemon juice and toss that into your glass also.

Step Eight

Now, use your jigger to measure 1 oz of Blue Curacao and add that to your drink.

Step Nine

Lastly, use your jigger again this time to measure 4 oz of Red Bull and add that to your glass also.

Step Ten

To ensure that you are a drink is mixed, pour all the contents of your glass into your cocktail shaker and then back into your glass. Do be careful during this step as the Red Bull can become a little fizzy if you don’t do this slowly.

Step Eleven

As a garnish, you can use maraschino cherries. Simply take a long cocktail pic stick three cherries on it and stick that in the side of your glass.
