    🍻 What is a Lager and Lime?

    Lager and lime is essentially a longer beer poured into a highball glass with a dash of lime juice stirred in. This is super easy, classic beer-based cocktail is full of crisp and refreshing flavor with a generous citrus twist.

    Lager beer tends to be crisp and refreshing with a light, mild and mellow taste. It also tends to be a little fizzier and more carbonated than other beers.

    There are many different types of lager beers, in fact, it’s one of the most popular types. Many of the big brands you know and probably have seen in the stores are lager beers.

    Another simple two ingredient beer cocktail is the Snakebite drink.

    Need a few reasons why you should stir this recipe up? Here are a few reasons you’ll love it:

    • Light and refreshing. This is a crisp and light drink it has a refreshing flavor. It’s not too heavy, not too sweet and is great for sipping.
    • Super easy. This is literally one of the easiest drinks you can make. Simply pour your beer into a glass and add a couple ounces of lime juice. Does it get much easier than that?
    • Serve most any time. This is a cocktail that is a fantastic addition to most any different event. From casual to formal and everything in between.

    • jigger
    • Bar spoon

    📋 Ingredients

    • 6 – 8 oz Lager
    • 2 oz Lime Juice
    • Ice

    Step one

    Start out by gathering everything together including lime wedge, lime juice, jigger, bar spoon, highball glass, ice and beer.

    Step two

    Grab up some ice and stuff it into your highball glass. The ice should totally fill the glass up.

    Step three

    Grab up your lime juice and your jigger. Measure out 2 oz of lime juice and toss it into the glass.

    Step four

    Grab up your lager beer. Go ahead and tip the glass sideways and slowly pour the beer into the glass.

    Step Five

    If desired, grab a bar spoon and give the drink a stir to ensure that everything is mixed thoroughly.

    Then, take a lime and cut it into wedges. Grab one slice and cut a little notch in the pulp. Place that wedge on the rim of the glass and enjoy.

    Ingredients
      

    • 2 oz Lime Juice
    • 6 – 8 oz Lager
    • Ice

    Instructions
     

    • Get all of the items listed in the ingredients and equipment sections above gathered together.
    • Add a few handfuls of ice into the glass. The glass should be filled to the top.
    • Take the lime juice and measure out 2 oz with the jigger. Pour the lime juice into the glass.
    • Take the lager beer and open it up.
    • Pour the beer into the glass and top the glass off with it.
    • Take the bar spoon, place it in the glass and stir well.
