If you love the contrast of sweet and sour, you’re going to love the Strawberry Margarita. Strawberries and lime are a perfect combination!
How To Make A Strawberry Margarita
A Strawberry Margarita takes all the best parts of a classic Margarita and gives them a delicious fruity twist, similar to the Blueberry Margarita.
Is Triple Sec Necessary?
If you want to have the hint of orange flavor that goes with a margarita, you have to include Triple Sec. It is possible to substitute it for other orange liqueurs like Cointreu or Blue Curacao, like in a Blue Margarita.
What Is The Best Tequila?
We always recommend using the highest quality tequila that fits your budget. Typically, when it comes to liquor, price and a reputation are good indicators of quality.
We prefer Patron silver or 1800 silver. But honestly, whatever tequila tastes best to you is the tequila that you should use.
Can You Use Frozen Strawberries?
It is possible to use frozen strawberries for this recipe but will make things a bit more difficult. This recipe requires you to muddle your strawberries together with simple syrup. Frozen strawberries will be quite difficult to smash unless they have been thawed first.
How To Rim A Glass
While rimming a Strawberry Margarita glass in sugar is optional, it never hurts to learn how. You just wet the rim of the glass using simple syrup or lime juice from a lime wedge. Then dip the wet rim into either salt or sugar, depending on what the drink calls for.
What Is The Difference Between A Margarita And A Daiquiri?
Daiquiris and Margaritas are often confused. Possibly because they both can be brightly colored, frozen, and are associated with tropical themes.
While they do share many characteristics, there is a key distinction between them. Daiquiris are a rum based cocktail while ALL Margaritas are tequila based cocktails.
Ingredients
Margaritas are known for their simplicity. You only need a few ingredients to make a perfect cocktail.
