What is a 57 Chevy Drink?

57 Chevy drink is a combination of orange juice, Southern Comfort, vodka, amaretto and pineapple juice. It tastes like a tropical cherry candy. The pineapple and amaretto blend together to have almost a cherry flavor which is a predominant flavor in this drink. There are subtle hints of the tang of orange juice.

The orange juice and pineapple juice both lend a sweet and tangy fruit flavor to this drink. They create a refreshing easy sipping flavor when blended together with the other ingredients.

Southern comfort is a whiskey based liqueur. It tends to be on the sweeter side with fruity and spicy flavors such as cherry, caramel, vanilla and cinnamon.

Vodka is a clear liquor. It is colorless and tends to be pretty much tasteless except for it’s strong bite as it goes down. Some vodka is flavored, but for this cocktail you just need plain vodka.

Amaretto is an almond flavored liqueur. It tends to have a little bit of a bitter after taste. It is originally from Italy.

Of note, there are a few variations that you can do with this drink including adding a dash of grenadine, using fresh squeezed orange juice or pineapple juice.

When to serve this cocktail

This easy and refreshing sipper is well suited to serve at a variety of different times and events. It’s bright color and fruity flavor makes it particularly suited for spring and summertime festivities. A few suggestions include:
