What is a fruit tingle cocktail?
A fruit cocktail is made of four simple ingredients. Those are lemonade, vodka, blue curacao, and grenadine or raspberry cordial.
One of the fun things about this drink is the gradient color that goes from Blue to purple. The Chambord is what helps the color change just like in a black opal and a black martini.
It is surely a crowd-pleaser for any get-together with its bright color.

How to make this drink:
Even though this drink has a flashy look to it it is fairly simple and easy to make.
Equipment:
Ingredients:
- 3 oz lemonade
- 1 oz vodka
- 1 oz blue Curacao
- 1 oz grenadine or raspberry cordial like Chambord
- (optional) Garnish with Lemon wheel or Maraschino cherries
Instructions:
Step one
As you get started, the first thing you want to do, is together your equipment and ingredients together.
Step two
Next, you want to fill your glass with ice almost all the way to the top.
Step three
Then, using your jigger, measure 1 oz of vodka and pour into your glass over the ice.
Step four
Now, again your jigger, measure 1 oz of blue curacao and pour that into your glass with the vodka over the ice.
Step Five
There are two ways to get the purple coloring of your fruit tingle.
What we like to do, is to next measure and pour 3 oz of lemonade into your glass and lightly stir.
Then take 1 oz of raspberry cordial or grenadine and pour into your glass which will sink and create a purple gradient color.
You may also pour the lemonade and the grenadine in your glass at the same time which will again cause them to mix creating a purple color.
Step six
You can garnish the drink with a lemon wedge or wheel. Or a couple of maraschino cherries.

Fruit Tingle Cocktail
Equipment
- highball glass
- bar spoon
- Hawthorne strainer
- cocktail shaker
- jigger
- (optional) cocktail pick
Ingredients
- 3 oz lemonade
- 1 oz vodka
- 1 oz blue curacao
- 1 oz Chambord or Grenadine
Instructions
- Fill Highball Glass and cocktail shaker both with ice
- Measure and pour 1 oz of Vodka into cocktail shaker
- Measure and pour 1 oz of Blue Curacao into cocktail shaker
- Place top on shaker and shake until thoroughly mixed.
- Take top off shaker and replace with Hawthorne strainer
- Pour mix into highball glass
- Using jigger, measure 3 oz of lemonade, add to highball glass and stir with bar spoon
- Using jigger, measure 1 oz of chambord or grenadine. Slowly pour into glass and as it sinks, it will mix with the other liquid and create a purple color.
