What is a Wet Pussy Shot?

A wet pussy shot is made of vodka, gin, coconut rum, peach schnapps, cranberry juice and pineapple juice. Although it has a lot of ingredients it is fairly easy to whip up (similar to a scooby snack shot).

This shot is a light red or pink color (similar to this swedish fish shot and the panty dropper drink) when all mixed together and has a very fruity flavor. It is great for bachelorette parties or other fun get togethers. And although it’s name might be a little out there it’s taste is superb.

Equipment

• cocktail shaker
• Hawthorne strainer
• Shot glasses
• jigger

Ingredients

• ½oz vodka
• ½ oz gin
• ½oz coconut rum
• ½ oz peach schnapps
• splash of pineapple juice
• splash of cranberry juice

Variations

Since this isn’t a standardized drink, there are several different variations out there. Here are a few to try:

• Leave out the gin. The gin imparts a bit of a botanical flavor, if you want to stick to a just fruity, tropical shot leave it out. If you do this, we recommend adding ¼ oz of both vodka and peach schnapps.
• Add Lime juice. The addition of lime juice is quite popular in this drink and usually is a substitute for the pineapple juice. Though both are tangy, the lime gives more of a subdued tang and less sweetness.
• Leave out the coconut rum. Take out some of the tropical flavor by leaving out the coconut rum. If you do this, we recommend adding ¼ oz of both vodka and peach schnapps.

Instructions

This shot does have more ingredients than most shots do. However, that does not make it a particularly hard drink to make.

Step one

Before you start mixing anything together, you’ll want to make sure that you have both your equipment and all of your ingredients gathered into one place.

Step two

First, fill your cocktail shaker mostly full of ice.

Step three

Next, you will want to add all of your liquors. Using your jigger, measure ½ oz each of gin, coconut rum, peach schnapps, and vodka and pour them one by one over the ice into your cocktail shaker.

Step four

Now, add a splash of pineapple and a splash of cranberry juice into your cocktail shaker. You can put a little splash or a big splash, the bigger the splash the more juice flavor you will get.

Step Five

Place the top on your cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for several seconds so it all of your ingredients are mixed and cooled by the ice.

Step six

Remove the top from your cocktail shaker. Place your Hawthorne strainer over the top of your cocktail shaker.

Pour your liquid from your cocktail shaker into your shot glass.

Your shot is ready to enjoy!

Mixing Tips

• Make more than one shot. It’s easy to shake up more than one shot at a time, just add double or triple the amount of ingredients to your shaker, and you can pour out two or three shots.
• Get it chilled. Having a well chilled shot really enhances the flavor. Make sure to shake until the shaker gets icy on the outside so you know your liquid is completely chilled.
