If you’re a fan of the citrusy sweet mountain dew soda and you love a good cocktail then you should try a brandy and mountain dew.
What is a brandy and mountain dew?
As you may guess a brandy and mountain dew is very simply Brandy and mountain dew mixed together.
Mountain dew is in fact a great mixer for a lot of different liquors. You can make a whiskey and mountain dew, a rum and mountain dew or a vodka and mountain dew.
Also, if you want some different flavor variations but still the mountain dew base you can use mountain dew code Red or mountain dew Baja blast.
No matter which variation you decide on brandy and mountain dew is an easy to make drink that’s perfect for any occasion.
How to make this drink:
This is a super easy to make two ingredient cocktail.
- 2 oz brandy
- 4 oz mountain dew
- One wedge of lemon or lime
Get all of your ingredients and equipment together. And then, fill your highball glass full of ice.
Use your jigger to measure 2 oz of Brandy and then pour it over the ice in your highball glass.
Grab your mountain dew and measure 4 oz and then pour it into your highball glass with your brandy.
This drink doesn’t have to have an exact 4 oz of mountain dew. You can use a little less mountain dew if you want to have the Brandy flavor to be stronger or you can use a little more mountain dew if you want the Brandy flavor to be less
You can use either a lemon or lime as your garnish. Either go well with the citrusy flavor of the mountain dew. Whichever you select cut it into a wedge and place the wedge on the rim of your glass.
Grab a hold of your bar spoon and slowly stir your mountain dew and Brandy thoroughly together.
Your drink is ready for sipping!
Brandy and Mountain Dew
- bar spoon
- highball glass
- 2 oz Brandy
- 4 oz Mountain Dew
- lemon or lime wedge
- Slice a lemon or lime into wedges. Add a wedge to the rim of the glass.
- Fill the glass with ice to the top.
- Use the jigger to measure 2 oz of brandy and pour into glass.
- Use the jigger to 4 oz of mountain dew and pout into glass
- Use the bar spoon to lightly stir ingredients together
