Cinnamon milk is a combination of cinnamon simple syrup in your choice of milk. It can be served warm or cold and is equally good both ways. It is cozy, creamy, sweet and a little spicy.
This drink can be stirred up in just a few minutes like most other easy to make flavored milks. Some similar flavored milks include vanilla milk, sugar cookie milk and pumpkin milk.

- Use a different sweetener. Skip the refined sugar and use honey or an alternative sweetener.
- Add a little more flavor. There are a couple flavors that go well with cinnamon and milk. You can add in a teaspoon of vanilla or honey if you want to add a little more flavor.

📋 Ingredients
- 2 oz Cinnamon Simple Syrup – You can use store bought, or make your own with 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 3 cinnamon sticks. If you want to make your own, click the link above to see a detailed step by step instructions or check out an overview in the recipe card below.
- 4 oz of Milk – We like to use 2% milk. But, you can use whatever milk you like.
- Ice

Step one
Grab together everything you need for this flavored milk including cinnamon simple syrup, milk, glass or mug, bar spoon, jigger.
Step two
If you’re choosing to make this warm you’ll first need to heat your milk. Measure out about 4 oz and place it in a mug.
Pop it into the microwave and heat for 15 second intervals until it is warm. Make sure not to overheat it.
Alternatively, you can place it in a pot on the stove top and heat it on medium low heat.
Step three
If you are not warming your milk, make sure to add some ice to your glass.
Step four
Take your cinnamon simple syrup and measure 2 oz. Then, pour it into your mug with your milk.
Step Five
Take your spoon and place it in the mug. Give everything a couple good stars so that it is thoroughly mixed.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Cinnamon Simple syrup if making your own, you will need 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, 3 cinnamon sticks
- 4 oz Milk
- ice optional
Instructions
Cinnamon Simple Syrup
- Toss 3 cinnamon sticks, 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water into a pot.
- Simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring well.
- Pour into a jar and cool off in the fridge.
Cinnamon Milk
- Heat up 4 – 6 oz of milk in the microwave for 15 – 30 seconds (or you can heat it on the stovetop).*see below if you want to measure in cups.
- Pour milk into mug or glass.
- Measure out 2 oz of cinnamon simple syrup and pour into the mug or glass.
- Use the bar spoon to mix it all together.
Notes
- ¼ cup cinnamon simple syrup
- ½ cup milk
- You can serve this warm or cold. If serving cold, be sure to add ice to the glass.
- Do not overheat the milk if serving warm.
- You can also shake this one up in a cocktail shaker if desired.
- Use any milk you prefer including dairy free.
