The first is that the shot gets layered into a shot glass. The second is that in the cocktail you can add milk, half and half or heavy cream to get an even richer, creamier taste.

All you need for this cocktail is Amaretto, Irish Cream, Vodka and Kahlua. With some whipped cream to add as a garnish on top. So, it is a pretty simple cocktail to make with pretty standard ingredients.

The Irish cream adds to the creamy chocolate flavor while the Kahlua adds to the coffee taste as well as the creamy flavor. Vodka, tends to be a rather tasteless liquor, typically just adding an alcohol bit on the backend of whatever drink it is added to.

How to make this drink:

Making this drink is pretty easy. The cocktail will mix up a little faster than the shot since you don’t have to take the time to layer in the ingredients. The amounts below will get you 2 shots or one rocks glass.

Equipment:

• jigger
• Rocks/Scotch/Bourbon glass or Shot glasses
• Hawthorne strainer
• cocktail shaker

Ingredients:

• .75 oz Vodka
• .75 Amaretto
• .75 Kahlua
• .75 Irish Cream
• .75 Milk or Half and Half (if you’re making the cocktail version and not the shot version)
• Whipped Cream
• Ice

Instructions:

Step one

First decide if you want to make this one as a shot or as a cocktail.

Then, gather up your glass, jigger, shaker and strainer (for a cocktail) or bar spoon (for a shot). As well as your vodka, Kahlua, Irish Cream, Amaretto and Milk (for a cocktail).

Step two

To make a screaming orgasm shot:

Measure .75 oz of Kahlua with your jigger and pour it into the bottom of your shot glass.

Measure .75 oz of Amaretto with your jigger. Place your bar spoon in your glass upside down so that it is just above the line of Kahlua. Then slowly pour the Amaretto over the spoon and it should sit on top of the Kahlua.

Measure .75 oz of Irish Cream with your jigger. Place your bar spoon in your glass upside down so that it is just above the Amaretto. Then slowly pour the Irish Cream over the spoon and it should sit on top of the Amaretto.

Measure .75 oz of Vodka with your jigger. Place your bar spoon in your glass upside down so that it is just above the Irish Cream. Then slowly pour the Vodka over the spoon and it should sit on top of the Irish Cream.

Step three

To make a screaming orgasm cocktail:

Add ice to your Rocks glass as well as your cocktail shaker.

Use your jigger to measure .75 oz each of Kahlua, Amaretto, Irish Cream, Vodka and Milk and pour each into your cocktail shaker with your ice.

Put the top on your shaker and shake it well until the outside is cold to the touch. This usually takes about 15 – 20 seconds.

Then, replace the cocktail shaker top with your Hawthorne Strainer. Pour your drink into your Rocks Glass over the ice.

Step four

For both your shot or your cocktail, take your whipped cream and carefully add a large dollop on top of your drink.

Step Five
