The Best Mixed Drinks With Coke
Soda, pop, coke. This classic mixer is perfect and can add a little bit of extra oomph to just about any drink.
There are a ton of great drinks with other sodas, like Whiskey and Root Beer or Tequila and Sprite, but Coke really takes any drink to the next level.
We wanted to curate a list of just the very best options. So, this is the selection criteria that we used: flavor profile, ease of mixing, customization options.
Additionally, split the list into two categories: two ingredient drinks and other cocktails and shots. With over 10 delicious options, we are positive you will find more than a few to your liking.
Two Ingredient Coke Cocktails
Here are some of the easiest (and tastiest) cocktails on the list – all of which take just two ingredients to stir together. There are even more that we didn’t include that are equally easy and yummy, like a Brandy and Coke or Hennessey and Coke.
Whiskey & Coke
Let’s start this list off right with an easy, yet delicious, classic cocktail; the Whiskey and Coke. This sweet, fizzy and lightly caramel flavored drink is super yummy.
Why it’s good: there are a ton of customization options for this one including: peanut butter whiskey and coke (gives a little nutty and salty spin on the regular whiskey and coke), Crown and Coke and Jameson and Coke.
Tequila and Coke
A tequila and Coke really let’s the sweet flavor of the Coke shine through. It has just a little bite of tequila as it goes down.
Why it’s good: easily customize this drink by adding in a splash of lime and a salted rim and it’s called a Batanga. Either version is super easy to make.
Gin and Coke
The Gin & Coke has the sweet, fizzy coke flavors mingled with the strong botanical flavors in the gin. It is an interesting and refreshing combination.
Why it’s good: with just two ingredients, this one is super fast to stir up – it takes 2 minutes or less.
Vodka and Coke
Sweet, fizzy and tasting mostly like Coke – a vodka and coke is super easy to make. There is just a hint of a bite of vodka as it goes down.
Why it’s good: this one is easily customizable by using flavored vodkas. Some of our favorites are: vanilla vodka, whipped cream vodka and cherry vodka.
Rum & Coke
Get a sweet and tropical twist by trying a Rum and Coke. The strong coke flavor is enhanced by the sweetness of the white rum mixed in.
Why it’s good: make it a Cuba Libre by adding a splash of lime for a citrus twist. Or switch up the type of rum and try – coconut, dark or spiced.
Amaretto & Coke
Amaretto and Coke is a nice drink that has some undertones of cherry and nuttiness. This is a well blended, fizzy and sweet sipper.
Why it’s good: this one is so easy to stir together. You can have it ready in just a few minutes.
Jager & Coke
Jager and coke is robust, full flavored highball that is full of fizz. The licorice and other herbs in the jager are well balanced with the sweetness of the Coke.
Why it’s good: this is a complex flavored drink that doesn’t take long to mix up.
Other Cocktails & Shots
If you’re looking for something a little more, try out some of these more elaborate (but still easy) shots and mixed drinks with Coke.
Long Island Iced Tea
The long island iced tea is a cocktail standard that’s packed full of fizzy flavor. This one is easy to make and easy to sip, but be cautious – it is a high alcohol content drink.
Why it’s good: this one is easy to make in big batches for parties – and it fits right in with it’s high alcohol content. You can make lots of other versions with different mixers as well.
Dr. Pepper Bomb Shot
The Dr. Pepper Bomb shot is an easy to make shot made from Amaretto and coke. Like other bomb shots, you drop a shot glass of liquor into a highball or collins glass of beer or soda.
Why it’s good: this is a fun party drink and it tastes just like Dr. Pepper – but with no Dr. pepper actually in it.
Dracula’s Kiss Cocktail
This Dracula’s Kiss cocktail is a super easy and equally yummy three ingredient drink. You only need Coke, grenadine and cherry vodka for this one. It is sweet and fizzy and tastes like a cherry coke with a little bite of alcohol.
Why it’s good: even though it has a vampire themed name it’s great for more than just Halloween and spooky parties. It’s easy to make and works well for BBQs, Afternoon sipping and more. Leave out the cherry vodka and make a non-alcoholic Roy Rogers drink instead.
